Competition terms and conditions

  1. The promoter is: The Patchwork House CIC (Herein after know as Patchwork) company no. 13024604 whose registered office is at 103 Winner Street Paignton TQ3 3BP.
  2. The competition is open to residents of the England and Wales only, except employees of Patchwork and anyone otherwise directly connected with the organisation or judging of the competition.
  3. There is no entry fee but a minimum donation of £20.00 is required through the just giving page provided.
  4. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  6. Only one entry will be accepted per person. You will only be entered into the competition if you raise a minimum donation of £20.00. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
  7. Closing date for entry will be on midnight on Monday 31st March 2022. After this date the no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  8. There will be two prizes and two winners associated with this competition.
  9. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
  10. The rules of the competition and how to enter are as follows:

The competition

  1. Patchwork reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
  2. The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
  3. Two prizes will be up for grabs in this competition, Prize one will be drawn when £7,500 target has been reached. Prize two will be for all qualifying entrants when the target of £15,000 has been reached.
  4. Prize one is as follows: A voucher of £50.00 to spend in The Patchwork store (we cannot substitute any of the products for alternative products, with no exceptions).
  5. Prize two is as follows: A hamper of goods worth a minimum of £250.00  (contents may vary and we cannot substitute any of the products for alternative products, with no exceptions) No alcoholic products will be added to the prize due to the inability of the promotor to check the age of the entrant.
  6. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. The contents of the Prize is subject to availability and we reserve the right to substitute the prize or any part of the prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice.
  7. Winners for both prizes will be chosen at random by software, from all entries received and verified by Promoter and or its agents. Each entrant will be entered by name, your name will be entered into a random number generator, whichever name is picked out will be declared the winner. The name generator will be videoed and shared on our page.
  8. The winner will be notified by email within 7 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
  9. The promoter will notify the winner when the prize will be delivered. The winner will provide Patchwork with their full name and address details for delivery.
  10. The promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  11. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  12. The competition and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
  13. The entrants and winner agrees to the use of their name in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
  14. Patchwork’s decision as to those able to take part and selection of winners is final. No correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
  15. The winner’s name will be available for a minimum of 28 days after closing date by visiting the social media pages associated.
  16. Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  17. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or any other Social Network. You are providing your information to Patchwork and not to any other party. The information provided will be used in conjunction with the Patchwork Privacy Policy which is available on request.
